LAFAYETTE MEDICAL APPROACH
Opiate Treatment Redefined
About Us
WHO WE ARE
Lafayette Medical Approach is an opiate treatment program (OTP) specializing in methadone treatment for the opioid dependent. We are family-owned and operated and have proudly served the community for over 50 years.
Lafayette Medical Approach has always had one goal: caring for the drug dependent. Our philosophy has been that while dependency is a very serious matter, it doesn't need to dictate one's life. We feel the drug dependent are much more than just that. They are people like the rest of us who have hit a bump in the road but who can go on and live healthy, happy, and productive lives with just a little help. And we are there to help. We treat our clients with the utmost discretion and dignity recognizing that each is a human being with great potential and worthy of respect.
OUR GOAL
WHAT WE DO
First and foremost we listen. We get to know our clients...problems and all. We know every client is different and their treatment should reflect their individuality. Together then can we decide on a course of action. We treat our clients with a combination of one on one daily/weekly counseling and pharmaceuticals. Services provided include: Medication, Individual Counseling, Medical Evaluation, Referrals (vocational, educational, mental health, detoxification / rehabilitation). We offer a safe, effective treatment for opioid dependence. Studies prove that individuals in treatment spend less time in prison, hospitals, and tend to live longer than opioid-addicted individuals who are not in treatment. Our treatment team works closely with each client to develop an individual treatment plan with obtainable goals. The staff of Lafayette Medical Approach consists of a diverse group of individuals who have dedicated their lives to helping others.
